Tony & Margaret Baker -serving INDIA with Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC)

Based in Hyderabad, in the state of Andhra Pradesh Tony and Margaret serve at Trinity Christian College, providing hands on leadership training to the church planting pastors in the field. They also encourage and work alongside the pastors as they minister at the various village church plants.

The college is accredited by the Asia Theological Association, to train men and women for a Bachelor of Theology degree, as well as Diplomas and Certificates in Theological studies. Over the past 12 years Trinity Christian College has been the catalyst for training pastors to establish 164 new church plants with unreached people groups in the state of Andhra Pradesh. There are currently only 52 pastors so that means they each have the responsibility to care for at least three or four churches. The churches are growing rapidly and there is an urgent need to train more pastors so that each church will have its own leadership. Tony and Margaret also share in the vision of the national leaders to establish 500 churches within the next decade, which will, of course, require many more trained pastors and leaders.
